Convive has been roasting coffee in Pittsburgh since 2012, with a mission centered on bringing people together through coffee and community. The Lawrenceville cafe doubles as the roastery, while the Mars location houses the bakery, and their rotating single-origin coffees offer a look into what a small-batch, family-owned roaster does best.

For a first visit, try the Smoke Salted Maple Latte made with real maple syrup, a touch of salt, and Convive’s Revive house espresso. If you prefer black coffee, ask about the current single-origin pour, then pair it with one of their fresh-baked scones from the Mars bakery.

Convive delivers coffee-snob-level quality without the snobbery, with sustainably and ethically sourced beans roasted in small batches to highlight each origin. Their coffees are a great way to experience the distinct flavors of different regions, especially if you’re new to pour overs and single-origin coffee.
